Your First Visit
Health history conversation
Dr. Natalie will start by sitting down with you to talk through your symptoms, your health background, and what you’re hoping to get out of care. This is a genuine conversation, she wants to understand your whole story, not just the part that hurts.
Physical examination
Next, she’ll conduct a thorough physical exam to assess how your body is moving, where you’re holding tension, and what areas need attention. She’ll explain what she’s evaluating at each step.
Your treatment plan
Based on what she finds, Dr. Natalie will determine which therapies make sense for your situation and your comfort level. Your first visit may include hands-on treatment, or she may focus on assessment and begin working with you on a plan, whichever approach fits your case best.
Before you leave, she’ll walk you through what she found and what a personalized care plan looks like for your specific needs.
Before Your Appointment: Complete your intake forms ahead of time. Arrive 10 minutes early. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring any imaging or insurance details if you have them.
Your First Visit (60 min): Health history conversation → Physical examination → Personalized treatment plan. Dr. Natalie explains everything at every step.
Your Second Visit: Dr. Natalie walks you through her full findings and exactly what your care plan looks like including therapy types, visit frequency, and what to expect as you progress.
What Our Patients Say
What Makes Tip Top Health Different
- Longer visits, more thorough care. Your first appointment is 60 minutes — not a quick consult. Each visit has time to breathe.
- Therapies chosen for you. Dr. Natalie selects the right approach for your case including soft tissue work, movement therapy, acupuncture, or other techniques, all based on your exam findings and comfort level.
- Same provider, every time. Dr. Natalie knows your history because she was there from your first visit. No rotating staff. Your care plan builds on itself.
- Built for the long term. The goal isn’t quick symptom relief. It’s helping you move better, function better, and stay healthier.
First Visit FAQs
What happens at my first chiropractic visit?
Your first visit runs approximately 60 minutes. Dr. Natalie starts with a health history conversation, then conducts a thorough physical exam to assess how your body is moving. Based on her findings she’ll explain a personalized care plan — and your first visit may include hands-on treatment or focus on assessment, depending on what fits your case best.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes — chiropractic care is safe. Dr. Natalie always explains what she’s doing before she does it. Nothing happens without your understanding and consent. Some patients feel mild soreness after a session early on, which is normal and typically fades within a day or two.
Do you direct bill?
Yes. Tip Top Health can direct bill to most major insurance providers. Reach out before your visit to confirm your coverage.
How long until I notice improvement?
It varies by person and condition. Many patients notice improvement within their first few visits. Dr. Natalie will be transparent about what progress looks like for your specific case and will adjust the plan as you move forward.
What if I'm nervous?
This is one of the most common things first-time patients say. Dr. Natalie takes time to explain everything, answers all your questions, and never proceeds with anything you’re not comfortable with.
Will there be an adjustment at my first visit?
An adjustment is one technique Dr. Natalie may use — but it’s not the only one, and it’s not right for every patient or situation. She decides what’s appropriate based on your exam findings, health history, and personal comfort. If you’d prefer to avoid adjustments, just let us know and she’ll work with you using other approaches.
